Amazing! Attentive service, delicious food, reasonably priced and more than I could eat. Wish I had taken a picture of the smothered chicken, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, cabbage and cornbread muffin. Husband had dark fried chicken, greens, fried okra & mashed potatoes. We did get these brownies to go and they are as delicious & moist as they look.
Big Mama's is a locally owned restaurant recommended by friends. It is located in a strip mall that primarily features various dining establishments. To place an order, customers pay at the front register for both dine-in and to-go meals. There are plenty of menu options available, including daily specials. All entrees are prepared fresh, so you should expect about a twenty-minute wait after submitting your order. During my visit, I ordered the two-pork chop special for lunch, which arrived piping hot and well-seasoned. I ended up taking half of the meal home to enjoy later. Big Mama's truly captures the essence of Soul Food culture and flavor. It offers a very casual dining experience that is sure to delight your taste buds.
I just found this place and i visit at least 5 times wthin a month so fa. Food is good to my liking. The customer service is good also
Second time I have gotten Takeout from Big Mama's and both times the food was delicious and the service was fast. Restroom was very clean. I will be back soon!!!
I recently ordered in from Big Mama's soul food, and the food was so good. My container was so full and heavy, they did not skip on the servings because it was delivery. I ordered the baked turkey wing with the yams, cornbread muffin and turnip greens. Everything was delicious. And whoever ever made the sweet potato pie knew what they were doing. It tasted just like my mamas and I haven't had any good sweet potato pie since she's been gone. It wasn't too sweet and everybody today has so much sugar that they take away the real flavor of sweet potato pie. You've got to get it.
